About Me
Hi, I’m Laura, and I’ve spent nearly 20 years in the bidding world, helping businesses tackle the challenges of tendering. I started out in health and social care before moving into defence—two completely different industries that have given me loads of insight into what makes a bid stand out. Along the way, I’ve learned what works (and what doesn’t) and developed best practices to make bids more strategic, compelling, and successful.
Over the years, I’ve managed bid teams of all sizes, from small, close-knit groups to large, internationally distributed teams. I’ve managed everything from quick, straightforward tender responses sent via email to large, complex submissions requiring physical shipment in a crate. No two bids are ever the same, but the fundamental principles remain consistent: clarity, compliance, and compelling content.

The purpose behind The Tender Coach
The tendering process can seem overwhelming, full of formalities, strict requirements, and industry jargon. But the truth is, it doesn’t have to be that way.
I want to make tendering more accessible to businesses that want their fair share of the public procurement pie. With the right guidance, any company can confidently navigate the process, submit strong, competitive bids, and secure the contracts they deserve.
