Module 3: Life After Submit

ambitious smes bidding course 4
Course Description

About this module

Submitting isn’t the end, it’s the next stage. Find out how SMEs can stay proactive, follow-up professionally, and plan ahead, win or lose. Because every tender is a step toward the next opportunity.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to confidently handle what comes after you hit ‘submit’. You’ll know how to prepare for presentations, respond to questions clearly, and make sure your online presence supports your bid. You’ll also learn how to reflect on what worked (and what didn’t), so every tender becomes a chance to get better and stronger for the next one.

Course Modules

1. Plan for the Presentation

We’ll start with how to plan and deliver a presentation that lands well. We’ll work on building a clear structure, sharpening your message, and preparing to present with confidence, whether it’s one-to-one or in front of a panel.

2. Refine Your Slides

Next, we’ll look at how to create simple, focused slides that actually support what you’re saying. We’ll strip out anything that distracts and make sure your visuals back you up, not trip you up.

3. Polish Your Presence

We’ll take a step back and check how your business looks from the outside. That includes your website, your social channels, and anything else a buyer might see. We’ll make sure you’re putting your best foot forward, even before the presentation starts.

4. Own Your Weaknesses

Not every bid is perfect, and buyers know that. We’ll look at how to handle gaps or weaknesses honestly and positively, so you can show awareness, build trust, and take control of the narrative.

5. Reflect and Improve

Finally, we’ll take time to step back and reflect. What’s gone well? What could be stronger next time? We’ll talk about how to gather feedback, review your approach, and keep building on what you’ve learned so far.

About the course

Learn how to stay proactive once your bid is submitted. You’ll understand how to prepare for presentations, respond to questions with confidence, strengthen your online presence, and reflect on key lessons to improve your future bids.
